So I've been listening to Cirque du Soleil's Quidam soundtrack and there's an interesting piece, Steel Dreams, that is obviously a modern piece of music, but I can't figure out if it's a jazz or rock piece or something else.

I have voted to close for two reasons - 1. this is very localised, and is unlikely to help anyone else (as per the faq) and 2. for crossover pieces like this, it could be categorised as jazz, rock, fusion or a few others depending on your viewpoint - so naming the genre doesn't really add anything. – Dr Mayhem Mar 18 at 10:13

Why is it important to identify a "type" for the music? The only important question is whether you enjoy it or not. – Wheat Williams Mar 18 at 23:41
