This question appears to be off-topic. The users who voted to close gave this specific reason:

  • "Questions about analysis of specific works are off-topic because they are probably not useful to anyone but the asker. Instead, ask about the theory or method of analysis itself if needed." – Dr Mayhem

Try learning by hearing, it takes time to develop that kind of learning, but it's worth it. – Ivan Ivković Mar 14 '14 at 21:49
Welcome to Musical Practice & Performance. While we can help you with many of your questions here, this is not the best place to look for tabs or sheet music. It is also not a good place to look for someone who can teach you. There are other forums for that. – Wheat Williams Mar 14 '14 at 22:46

Back in the sixties, we used to learn songs by listening very carefully to the recordings, and trying to copy what was played. I don't think tab existed then. Obviously it does now, and you've realised that it's often not too accurate, to be kind.Learning to play 'by ear' is what a large percentage of guitar players do anyway.Go for it.Don't rely on other people to tell you how to do it wrong !

The Hal Leonard publishing company has published seven volumes of authoritative Avenged Sevenfold guitar transcription books. You should buy the one with the song you are looking for.
