Still not sure if I should ask this in here or in the Electronics Q&A site, but here is the question...

I want to buy the Fishman Triple Play (a wireless guitar hex to MIDI pickup) and there are two versions, the US one and the EU/UK one. The US one is loads cheaper and I live in Malta (Europe) will I have problems with it?

Some people and also Fishman states that the devices might work but there could be some problems. Can someone please shed some light?

Do the seller includes the shipping + taxes? How's seller packaging quality? Maybe you can update that :) – seseorang Apr 18 '14 at 15:51
I looked into a lot of listings/options and overall a Fishman Triple Play EU versions costs double the price. Shipping/handling is not a factor. Thanks a lot for your reply – Oliver M Grech Apr 18 '14 at 16:54
The frequency of US and Euro versions may be different. The US version may be illegal in Europe. – david strachan Apr 18 '14 at 20:00
