Is there any way to mimic shoegazing sounds in Sonar X1 Producer using only pre-installed instruments (default instruments)?

If this is not possible, can anyone recommend any good shoegazing VSTi?

Can you explain what a shoegazing sound is? I have never heard the term. Possibly a link to an audio file? – Dr Mayhem♦ May 21 '12 at 13:24
Hmm, I'm not sure about this program or good VSTI's but I'm using an "Electro-Harmonix Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai" pedal, in which you can get crazy blurry tones. However, it costs about $250 though (but definitely worth saving up for). Otherwise, I am using FL Studio and sometimes will combine several layers of reverb, delay, and chorus on a track to get that blurry tone (could possibly cause comb-filtering in the mix though). – Ian Campbell Sep 14 '12 at 5:14
