comment Goldberg Variation 28, right hand 4/5 trills
In retrospect, and after reading @Babu's answer, yes, we must strengthen the muscles and the rest will follow. I upvoted.

Thanks. After two weeks of practice, it's no longer an issue. Using the wrist wasn't practical here, but the muscle training helped a lot.

I didn't downvote, but probably the reason is that this recommendation is generic for all trills. I'd like some 4/5 specific advice.

The computer keyboard analogy doesn't work, as it's digital: the output space is 0 or 1. Hitting a piano key is analog: the force of the hammer determines the resulting sound.

Sorry, I meant "a 2 Clav." (on 2 keyboards) as written in the score. I looked at Lessner's hands (youtu.be/CwO3oazTLrE?t=7m16s) and he seems to be doing some 2/4 action, which feels a little better. I guess either is fine.

comment How do I finger these descending treble fifths?
Cool, thanks. I have quite large hands, so alternating 5-1 and 5-2 feels about right.
