What is the proper technique for whistling? Here's another one for your enjoyment. But I'm also curious to know if there is some training for it. |

What to look for when buying a digital piano for a beginner? For the number of keys, definitely go for 88 keys. This way, you are certain to be able to play the entire classical repertoire, except maybe for a couple of pieces composed for the rare 88+ keyboard. |

Is it normal, when playing scales on the piano, to occasionally rub neighboring fingers against each other? I don't have this problem, I don't think you should either. |

How can I significantly improve my hand independence on piano? I'm afraid there's no quick fix to this problem. It only comes through hard training. But there are of course certain things you should pay attention to. Also, if you think that just having independence of the hands is enough, think again, you should aim at having independence of every single finger. |

Is reading notes without an instrument a good way to practice? Ideally, you should also imagine yourself hitting the correct keys on the piano and hear what it sounds like in your head without your piano. Of course, this can only be achieved after much practice. |
