Violin Pickup that will sound like natural violin? ... also bear in mind that when the sound levels are so loud that feedback is a real problem, people's ears and brains are too overloaded to appreciate subtleties of tone in any case. Sorry about the multiple comments. Lots to say that's not quite good enough to put into an answer. |

Violin Pickup that will sound like natural violin? I wonder whether an additional approach would be to place multiple soundboard transducers, to pick up frequencies from various parts of the board; then mix and EQ the outputs to taste. |

Violin Pickup that will sound like natural violin? A transducer won't be "100% feedback resistant" either, and a sufficiently focussed mic might well be resistant enough for feedback. |

Why does closing a recorder bell raise the pitch sometimes and lower the pitch other times? There is a good explanation of the physics of recorder fingering at flute-a-bec.com/acoustiquegb.html -- I'm not confident in my ability to summarise into an answer to your question though. |
