comment What is actually involved in moving a piano?
Well, follow that link, and follow the link there that says "Piano Moving Warnings". Having read that, I wouldn't move a piano myself.

comment Clean Amp + Distortion pedal vs Distortion from amp?
If it's software modelled, surely you can set up a MIDI footswitch to switch between any combinations of amps, effects and settings?

comment Strap button screw length for acoustic guitar
Tail is the opposite end of the guitar to the headstock. Heel is the part where the neck meets the body. I would trust a Grolsch ring with an acoustic strapped over my back -- but you should try it and gauge the secureness for yourself.

comment How to tell if an old piano can be restored?
if it's a choice between wood or iron at the same price, go for iron. If the prices are different -- well, it depends on the price and how much money you can spare.

I wouldn't say a wooden frame is an absolute no-go. It's less good, which should be reflected in the price. But a wooden frame will stay in tune unless it's loose/dry/rotten.

No. This is language, not law or science.

comment What is a Musician?
Primarily opinion based. A site like this can't improve on general reference dictionaries. Words mean whatever the speaker/writer wants them to mean.

3rd close vote. Please don't take this as a rejection of the question -- people will find this question and follow the link.

comment Is music really infinite?
The only way there could be an infinite amount of music, is if you permit infinitely long pieces. If you limit it to what would fit on a CD, you're limited to 2^5,896,000,000 possible 80 minute (max) pieces (many of which are indistinguishable to the human ear). That's a very large number indeed, but not infinite.

comment How do I learn to “play” FL studio by ear?
I think this question is a duplicate of music.stackexchange.com/questions/3010/… -- for this purpose there is no significant difference between a DAW and a piano.

comment What approach should I take to learn Jazz/blues guitar?
Get a teacher, or failing that, a book.
