Oh, I thought the problem was only on the left hand. If it's on both hands, it wouldn't make a difference -- the same issues you will face either way. Might I suggest instead becoming a vocalist? You can also try the harmonica or if you want to stick with a stringed instrument, maybe something like the Santoor would work:Santoor, Wikipedia.
