With regards to piano sheet music, when are you supposed to press the pedal(s)? Great answer! As @NReilingh says, the pedal adds power because it allows all of the other strings to resonate sympathetically with the notes that have actually been struck. Some of the better digital pianos may support this (perhaps the Roland V-Piano, or Pianoteq. Most inexpensive digital pianos won't have this level of fidelity. |
