♦Mod on GFH.SE

I have a wide range of interests, including music, history, and math. I have been playing music for three of four years now and play the cornet, recorder, and piano. 100% of the music on my computer is classical, so you should know what genres I prefer ;). I enjoy studying any history and researching genealogy. American English is my first language, pero tambien hablo Español. I am also currently taking Calculus 1.

With lower recorders, you can't just twist them to make them playable the other way around. There is no way I could possibly play my tenor with my right hand on top.

comment Learn music professionally, not classical and not jazz?
Most pop-like genres (e.g., rock, hip-hop, etc.) came from jazz. Knowing how to play jazz can be very helpful when playing those genres.

Most online Skype-type apps just can't physically be synced close enough for you to play together.

I've never seen a software that will repeat certain parts of a track on the fly. As far as the lyrics, those are usually controlled by a separate program. Your best bet is a live band. :P
