♦Mod on GFH.SE

I have a wide range of interests, including music, history, and math. I have been playing music for three of four years now and play the cornet, recorder, and piano. 100% of the music on my computer is classical, so you should know what genres I prefer ;). I enjoy studying any history and researching my genealogy. American English is my first language, pero tambien hablo Español. I am also currently taking Calculus 1.

comment How can I toughen up my fingertips?
Well, you can be the one to test that one out. I don't feel like sanding the skin off my fingers. :P

Can you explain some of the exercises? This helps prevent link rot from affecting the helpfulness of the answer.

comment Who has made the starting tune to this program “A New Earth” by Tolle?
Welcome to Music SE! Per the FAQ, "identifying a song, genre, instrument, etc." is off-topic. I'm afraid this question is off-topic as it is an identification question. If you have any on-topic questions about music, feel free to ask!

comment Algorithms for music composition
Well, I'm kind of afraid the question is a little too open-ended. This site works with a Q&A format, as you may know. Because this question is so open-ended, no answer is more right than another. That makes it not that great of a fit for this site's format. However, if you do have any objective questions, feel free to ask!

comment How to write partitures for an orchesta
No need to apologize, I understood it quite well. I only edited to make sure others do also. It's actually rather good for someone who is not a native English speaker.

comment How to write partitures for an orchesta
Most musicians have only there sheet music on their score. There are exceptions, such as in early band music. There, the solo cornet often has two or three parts on his sheet music. For most players in most circumstances, however, there is only one part per score.

comment How does one start learning music theory?
Hmm, nice well-rounded answer, but if I was just starting to learn theory, I'd be too scared of it to ever learn it. I propose you split it into steps with the simplest and most foundational things first. Then list the things that would be the "next step up" and so on. When you just list everything one should know, it is quite intimidating.

Welcome to Music SE! Thanks for your answer. +1 to get you started.

comment How to hit right partials on brass?
Yes, I am. I suppose it comes from playing piano, but that's what I call it. If it makes it easier for you to understand, I can change it to low C.

This doesn't exactly answer the question.

comment How can I learn to sing and play an instrument (like Piano) at the same time?
This question is not about the range of the piece. It is about the physical aspect of singing and playing at the same time.

What I'm trying to get at is that you should describe what the app does. If you have no experience with it, why do you recommend it?
