I'm a lifelong programmer and comp-sci enthusiast. I really enjoy automating things that can be automated, and in general feel that humans shouldn't have to do things that robots can do unless they really want to.
I also really enjoy making music and studying up on neuroscience.

Are there any (experimental) guitar strings whose cross-section is not a circle? I use flat-wound strings on a fretless guitar, and they certainly affect tone. I wouldn't be surprised if someone out there had written a book on this already, but I have no idea where to find that book. |

Where is a natural harmonic for the note C on guitar? @MatthewRead agreed. While I like standard tuning, many of my personal favorite compositions do not use it. That said, check out the book "Fretboard Logic" if you want an intuitive understanding of the versatility of standard tuning. |
