Why do these two songs seem impressive yet are easy to “sing” I think the What's Up chorus is easy to belt because of the shape of hey, which is pretty much the entire chorus. It's hard to sing it incorrectly because the pronunciation of the word lends good vocal set up in the same way that the photographer asking you to say 'cheese' makes you smile (somewhat). |

What are all those extra controls on the Fender Jazzmaster? @luserdroog, please see my edit. Regarding the switches, I've never played a Jazzmaster that I can recall for certain. I do have this Sears Silvertone Moserite-looking thing that has three similar switches. If they are anything like those, they could be switched accidentally, but not that easily. |

Playing higher A and B I hope not. I edited it before @Alex Basson to make them more guitar-like. I didn't do it (I suppose that's obvious) and I doubt Alex did. :\ |

Pop-like creak while tuning strings When I read the question title, my brain played the sound of cello tuning pegs creaking. When I realized it was an electric guitar, it changed to the pre-climactic musical cranking of my old jack-in-the-box. |

Need help identifying a scale That reminds me of Love, Hate, Love by Alice in Chains. I can't seem to determine the key of that song right now but I will investigate later today. |

How can I learn to sing and play an instrument (like Piano) at the same time? If you play by ear, you might want to try songs from notable singing pianists, such as Elton John, Joe Jackson, or even Elvis Costello. |

Guitar for super-small hands? I just looked at your reach chart and measured my own. 7 inches. |

Guitar for super-small hands? I started playing a full-size Yamaha classical when I was 10. It was the first guitar I ever touched. I am a girl and only grew to 5'2". Sure, it was difficult, but with daily practice, I was playing things like Led Zeppelin's Over the Hills and Far Away pretty quickly. |

Can a legato notes be played staccato? I got to thinking later that they were something other than legato markings, but it was bedtime. |

Learning blues piano from music score I wanted to believe that it wasn't a shopping question, which is why I commented. +1 for another great answer. |

Learning blues piano from music score How did you get the classical scores? This one amused me, and I found it with an image search for blues piano sheet music. blogfiles.wfmu.org/DP/2007/07/images/202_img_01.jpg |

Playing Andy Timmons' Electric Gypsy on Electric Guitar If you have never tried harmonics, I think it is worth plucking them on an acoustic as well a la Roundabout. |

How did “Mary had a little lamb” become popular blues? ...and if I had the rep to simply post that as a comment, I certainly would have. :) |
