Updated again with some more detailed tips. I'd get rid of Audacity, you really need a NLE (Non Linear Editing) DAW for proper recording & mixing.

I updated my post and added more questions. Don't hesitate to add a lot of details about your recording process, your recording chain, and gear used.

@Tim It depends on how you see it, if you're looking at the strings while standing, it's the top ones :). But I'll fix it, thanks. KudayarPirimbaev : Yes, but if playing was easy it would be less fun :). I guess it depends on people and how you learned to play, because I never had this issue when playing in Drop D.

This topic might help. Else, what you are looking for are backing tracks.

comment Does an adjustable bridge need to be parallel to the frets?
No, because on my guitar, to have a correct intonation the left saddle needs to be at minimum and the right one needs to be at maximum :). So if I move the bridge to be parallel again, the intonation will be incorrect for one of the E strings.

comment Getting started with an electric guitar and Rocksmith as an absolute beginner
@ekaj Yes this is a good tool for beginner (and not only !), I'm just worried about some things missing in this game that might be important to become a good player, or people getting bad habits (the latency might also be an issue as it can have an impact on the timing precision).

@MatthewRead Easy : there is no rhythm information, except the space between the notes. It's up to you to listen and estimate the note's duration.
