Recording a song in the right rhythm Updated again with some more detailed tips. I'd get rid of Audacity, you really need a NLE (Non Linear Editing) DAW for proper recording & mixing. |

Drop D power chords @Tim It depends on how you see it, if you're looking at the strings while standing, it's the top ones :). But I'll fix it, thanks. KudayarPirimbaev : Yes, but if playing was easy it would be less fun :). I guess it depends on people and how you learned to play, because I never had this issue when playing in Drop D. |

Where to download music covers for songs (without lyrics)? This topic might help. Else, what you are looking for are backing tracks. |

Does an adjustable bridge need to be parallel to the frets? No, because on my guitar, to have a correct intonation the left saddle needs to be at minimum and the right one needs to be at maximum :). So if I move the bridge to be parallel again, the intonation will be incorrect for one of the E strings. |

Getting started with an electric guitar and Rocksmith as an absolute beginner @ekaj Yes this is a good tool for beginner (and not only !), I'm just worried about some things missing in this game that might be important to become a good player, or people getting bad habits (the latency might also be an issue as it can have an impact on the timing precision). |

Getting started with an electric guitar and Rocksmith as an absolute beginner @MatthewRead Easy : there is no rhythm information, except the space between the notes. It's up to you to listen and estimate the note's duration. |
