@SmartyTwiti It certainly can. I'd pay special attention to hand posture as well - it matters for all play styles, but classical guitar has a bigger emphasis on hand position, IMHO.

@awe I meant that you can learn the fretboard and have the knowledge of where a note is be as ingrained in your head as knowing where a note is on the piano keyboard. It's certainly true that it's easier on the piano as you say.
