comment Why do we use such complicated notation?
Music is an art. You get really good after 10000 hours of intense practice. The time needed to learn music notation is a very small fraction of that. Music notation is beautiful. And it is a precious legacy of the past. You read the scores as they were written by Beethoven. Just enjoy and practice. Music is not computers or texting. Take the time to learn.
