comment In MuseScore, is it possible to add tab to an existing bass notation so I'd get both notation and tabs for bass?
You can make the bass part first in a separate project like you said you did, and then select and copy everything into this project at the right voice.

revised Do the notes of a chord form parallel octaves, even when they are not played simultaneously?
How a sequence of notes sounds like to define what the chord is

comment How can I teach a student who seems to have no rhythm?
I think metronome is "too steady" and not flexible enough to use for learning the consept of rythm. It is important to learn to recognize your own internal rythm before trying to adapt to external rythm. This answer was spot on!

comment Lilypond: how to engrave a double bar at “Fine” when a \repeat statement follows
It would be useful if you include a full code snippet here in the answer that solved the issue. Also you can accept your own answer. This way it will be a good reference for others that may have similar issues.

revised How can a guitarist treat and avoid lateral epicondylitis in the fretting arm?
Removed swearing (sorry - even if you didn't write it all out it's still swearing. It's not suitable here)

comment How to determine the key and write melodies for a chromatic chord progression?
When you have such special chord progressions, with chromatic based melody, the key is neither major or minor, but something completely different (may not even follow any official scale pattern).

comment Is there a difference between 2/4 and 4/4
@Tim: Yes, I agree with you that they can be equal in the sense of having a score in 2/2 with half noes as the beat is the same as having a score in 2/4 with quarter notes as the beats, but with half the tempo of the first score. What I mean is that does not make sence to say that a score that is written in 2/2 is played in 2/4. That is totally dependent on tempo, not time signature.
