comment What are G7/D and C/G chords?
Related questions that can give more insight on this topic: How to play chords like G/B o “slash” chords, e.g. B/F♯ - are these only for inversions, or can any note be the bass note? o Does the bass note in a “slash” chord really have an associated interval? o Why is the G/F chord not shown?.

comment Playing guitar pieces flawlessly
@UlfÅkerstedt: I think this question deserves to be active as specific to guitar, as long as answers are pointing to specific considerations in this setting, and not just "practice makes perfect". The question you linked to has very god general answers to this, but there might also be more specific considerations as Shevliaskovic has already shown in his answer.

comment What are the arguments for and against over-practicing?
I have never come close to reach dangerous levels that are close to the limit of over-practicing. I think I might be at times close to the limit of "under-practicing" though...

comment Improvisation on Piano
I guess he is talking about improvising to make it more interesting while playing to a song that others are singing. This means it has to fit an existing melody, and not in the sense of just playing something at random that sounds good.

comment Why is it common to write tuba sheet music in concert pitch?
When I was learning to play in the school band, we got all sheets transposed for E♭ tuba in G clef. See my examples: For the transposed version for E♭ tuba in G clef, the notes has the same positions on the note lines as the concert key in bass clef. The only difference is in the sharps and flats. As a general rule when transposing for E♭ tuba, I am just thinking "remove 3 flats (or add sharps)". This works just fine until we get something like A♯ in concert pitch, which translates to F♯♯ in my head, which is really G.

comment Quickly flip a page of sheet music while playing
I like this. An idea for app development would be to have midi-enabled file as source, and use sound recognition to turn the sheets automatically as you play.
