How much being a touch-typist can help learning the piano faster? Wrists held high? While I'm aware this applies to piano, wrists should rest on a surface while typing (ergonomic keyboards like the MS 4000 have pads for that). This is different from the piano. |

Why can't I whistle and hum different notes at the same time? I'm not a vocalist, but right now I've been able to hum a constant tone while whistling different tones. Not the other way round, though! |

Yamaha vs Casio digital piano - is there an objective comparison? There's also Korg (sp-200, 250) in entry-level price range, comparable to Yamaha. |

What are the differences between tone, note and pitch? I believe that note is more than a "named pitch", because it also carries information about the temporal length... Doesn't it? |

How far “off” can a piano unison be and still be considered “in-tune”? Btw- How are 'beats per second' related? A "beat" is a term usually related to the tempo (as in beats per minute), not pitch; we're just talking about plain Hertz, aren't we? Had me confused for a second... |

Sharp / Flat: Collectively known as property by what name? When it expands to the scale of a whole society, I recognise it being called "in-tune-nation", while we're at it. |

Sharp / Flat: Collectively known as property by what name? Is that double accidental only applicable when there's no enharmonicaly equivalent tone in the given scale (for example in pentatonic scales, but never in diatonic)? |

Does anyone know what does the “feat.” means exactly? Akon would be the leading artist while Snoop Dog is featuring as the invited artist. |

Noise when attempting to bend the 8th hole on a harmonica Riiight... From the 8th hole the blow and draw reeds are the other way round, that's why it's different! So simple.. Thanks! :) |
