@LeeWhite no, I wasn't presuming that. Actually, I was sure that Chromesthesia was not something that could be acquired if you didn't have it. The question was merely about how it would affect musical practice and composition.

Hey thanks for the answer. I find it very interesting that it seems to be genetic in your family and that you all have the same colors... However, I'm wondering how you don't have perfect pitch? I thought if you see colors for notes, you would easily be able to find the notes you want?
