Music Theory: Frequencies related to playing a note on guitar Thanks. I understand that a lot of things will depend on the guitar instrument that is being used. However, what i want to understand is What is a realistic (or the most probable) case?. As in, should fundamental frequency have amplitude more than harmonics or fundamental frequency can be lower than harmonics for smaller frequencies, etc. - i will also edit my question to reflect this. |

Music Theory: Frequencies related to playing a note on guitar I did that, both being acoustic guitars. I think there is a chance that third harmonic is coming so high only for my first guitar; however, there is no case where fundamental frequency is the highest, rather second harmonic comes out to be the highest (and comparable to the third harmonic). |
