@SaeedNeamati, speaking from experience (the question Matthew links is mine), his point about straining and stretching is very valid. When I was doing more performing and competing, it was unfortunately common to see my wrist/hand wrapped up when I was done with an event. "Oh I'm fine, just too much piano" is a weird reply when someone asks what happened. (; However, don't let that scare you/her away from leisurely play - it was only when training for high stress events and only for the few days around it.

Perhaps to you it is, but maybe it isn't to a random person who finds this question on Google. Link only answers are discouraged across the network.

Rather than an answer with nothing but a link that sends someone off to another site, it would be preferred explained your link, perhaps summarized. The goal of Stack Exchange sites are to be the place you find answers, not the place you get sent on a wild goose chase.

comment Well-known composers or piano pieces generally suitable for someone with small hands?
@neilfein yes. And the line between composition and improvisation isn't relevant for me. I suck at both. >_<

@neilfein, I may have many talents, but composing isn't one of them. (:

I reopened this question given its edits. Please consider the question with a fresh mind. (:

comment Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier Order
@ogerard, if you feel that that would make an ordering of the preludes and fugues less important, you should add that as an answer rather than a second-class comment. (:

comment Hang drum, what type of music is this?
@yayu, striking out text doesn't count as far improving your question to make it an objective, quality question...

comment Hang drum, what type of music is this?
The part of your question asking for recommendations doesn't really belong on a Stack Exchange site, given the subjective nature of that question. However, I'd like to suggest editing this question to only deal with classifying the music - seems like that could be an ok question.

comment Fingering for octaves on the piano
Have you read the FAQ, Good Subjective, Bad Subjective and Real Questions Have Answers? I'm not sure "have you found this is always best" fits.

comment Is there a canonical piano grading system?
Are you asking for a list of grading systems or are you asking what system grade X is a part of? Your title and body ask different questions.

I'm mainly wondering about the subjectivity of the question.

Please make sure you read the FAQ, Good Subjective, Bad Subjective and is it a Real Questions Have Answers to understand what types of questions are appropriate here. I'm not sure a recommendation question like this fits.

Hmm, is this good subjective and is it a real question?

@ogerard, that sequence gives me a headache thinking about it. (;
