comment Are there any headphones specially designed for guitar?
@neil fein, Where can you get them for that price? Here they are about 100€... That's the disadvantage with socialism...

Yes I noticed that while I was comparing different ones. I think I'm gonna go with the AKG MKII 240. I remember using them in the studio as well.

Oh, I was almost certain it was the Jam Kat, it fitted your description perfectly... They seem a bit expensive though, compared to keeping your pick between your teeth..

Great Answer, I guess I will stop looking for wireless and start looking for the flat response ones instead!

comment How to stop distortion from making minor chords muddy?
You talk a whole answer about the Tubescreamer without mentioning the JRC4558 chip! Unusual... Great answer though! This is exactly the reason why I don't use multieffects (as well as the sound..). It is so much easier to tweak when you have all components right in front of you!

comment What can be done about a buzzy sitar-like fret?
Well, I have a cheapo guitar that has terrible fretbuzz in certain places when using lighter strings. When putting heavier gauge in the action rises a bit and voila, problem solved! However, This is of course a dirty trick , but works in some cases .

+1 I completely agree on the acoustic first part! There's nothing worse than listening to a mega distorted ,untight version of proud mary!

comment Muting technique and exercises
Cool, never seen that before , I googled it and found some pretty cool licks. The both hands can also be used when playing some fast runs (in metal for example) but I guessed the OP was trying to learn the basics of muting!
