comment Relationship between 3/4 and 4/4
There is usually a big difference in rythm. For example, normally the first beat of each measure is stressed. Even if that's not the case, if the piece was originally in 3/4 there should be some pattern (rythm, especially, but perhaps also melody and harmony) that fits in there.
comment What is a secondary dominant chord?
"Mahna Mahná (duh duh dudúduh)" (E7 A7 D) The E7 here is a secondary dominant chord (dominant of dominant).
comment Learning guitar and fingerpicking
"pinky should rest on the highest string" That's not good advice. Pinky finger of the right hand is not normally used, and anyway, the righ hand should be free, no finger shoud rest on the strings.
comment One note sounding louder than others - resonance? What to do?
Yes, the A resonance it's annoying with some guitars. I tried the half-tone tune altering, but it was more pain than gain. I ended covering part of the hole, but that's not satisfying either. Now I have a nicer guitar ;-)
comment F# major vs Gb major?
he didn't want to be confusing by using a true parallel minor I'm not sure of why that would appear confusing, sounds quite common to me (eg: music.stackexchange.com/a/4617/460 )
