When practicing a song with frequently changing time signatures, what is the best way to count in? Some music is nothing but time signature changes. For an example that's happened to me, when the "natural" time signature is 3+2+2+2+2+2+3, the score could be "transcribed" to permanent alternation between 7/8 and 9/8 (chosen among other possibilities to preserve natural strong beats in the right places) |

What is the “theory” behind “odd time signatures”? 9/8 can be odd when grouped differently than 3+3+3, for example 3+2+2+2. |

Software that Transposes Music? Note that you don't really need to transpose anything at all if you intend to play alone. |
