How do we improve blend between male and female voices on the same part in a choir? A sound sample would be helpful, if you have one. |

Guitar Action for practicing and learning Abnormally high action can make playing difficult. But, within certain parameters, action up to individual player preference. On acoustic, I find higher action translates into slightly deeper tone. Lower action also makes the guitar slightly easier to play (although not as much as switching to lighter strings). |

Restringing a 12-string guitar with heavier strings - is it possible? Did you have any tuning issues on the Danelectro? If so, how did you handle them? As it currently stands, this instrument sounds great but is unusable in any live situation; strumming vigorously for maybe a minute or two will push it out of tune. |

What glue to use to repair maracas? I've got to say that, as good as the accepted answer by @M.Werner is, this is more specific and even better; am switching this to the accepted answer. (I'm also glad I never got around to fixing this, now that I can try this much more specific answer.) Thanks!. |

Why is B flat in this key sigiture when B is never played? Speaking as a working musician who uses notation for traditional folk tunes: Your jab at "simplistic" music aside, modulations away from the basic key should be noted in the notation, either in this staff or other staves in the same work. (If they're not, someone did an incomplete job of transcription.) |

Why is B flat in this key sigiture when B is never played? It also tells accompanists to use chords that do not contain B natural. |

Cajon as Alternative to Drum Set? The percussionist in one of my bands uses a cajon, and it's quite loud. A good cajon, one with a variety of sounds that has an adjustable snare, can easily serve as the main percussion piece of a band. |

How do you start a regular jamming session? This seems more like a request to start a discussion. Voting to close, but perhaps the question can be edited to be more directly answerable? |
