Acoustic guitar: How to stop right index finger nail from wearing away? Screw you, world, you couldn't have told me this two decades ago? :) Seriously, yeah, this is it. Gotta work on how I hold the pick. Until then, a small band-aid or maybe a fingerpick will hold me over for rehearsals and gigs. |

Why is the piano such a commonly used instrument? I believe the Chapman Stick has the range of the piano, but it's hardly a common instrument. |

Capo that won't detune my guitar? Shubb capos are the best I've found, and if I need to retune after using one, it's usually not very much and a pretty painless procedure. Also, they fit in a shirt pocket. |
