What instrument is inexpensive and can be self-taught? Especially for Woodwinds I would not suggest someone to begin learning without a teacher. It is very hard to get rid of a wrong embouchure. So imho at least the first few months should be supervised by a teacher. |

Cajon as Alternative to Drum Set? Additionaly you can get add some other small percussion instruments, as you don't have to play with both hands all the time. Probably even a Hi-Hat would be a nice addition. |
