I'm a self taught multi-instrumentalist who loves to blend rock and electronic music. I play mostly guitars but also piano, keyboards, bass, harmonica, flute, darbuka, a bit of drums, trumpet and clarinet. I used extensivly Reaper and have now worked in Live for a fair amount of time. I sing too. My tastes are extensive, I'm especially found of Satie, Chopin, Bach, Radiohead, Squarepusher, Muse, the Prodigy etc...

Finger picking? Do you play arpeggios or riff? I would suggest a perfect position (back ,arms and hand) or/and depending on the type of music you play, to put your pinky on the guitar top as a pivot.

Man, sorry about that, I've messed up. The semitone movement is between C (root of I) and B (third of V). I've corrected my answer. The good news is if you spotted that error, you're understanding it right!

I'm not sure there's any chance to have a latency that would allow you to play together as a group. I would just work colaboratively on a track, shared via Dropbox for example, and would keep the cam sessions to share riffs, ideas and suggestions and talk about each others works and versions.

I edited my answer to try and be more thorough, though it is indeed a huge topic. By the way, you could play the interval strictly chronologicaly or in the opposite directions. (I guess the fact that English is not my native language doesn't help)
