I am that I am seems to describe the self best. Martial artist, Visual artist, Audio artist, Bullshit artist and artist of life and death. I don't practice, I play !!!! Bung the MP3 into the pocket and jam with EVERY BODY THAT'S ANY BODY !!!! I play with the best bands in the world and don't have to pay 'em. I have many, many, many EUREKA moments as I realise that I'm actually starting to'GET' what all chicken scratching and pentatonics are about. What's a scale? Something that weighs things. EUREKA !!!! Yours internally. Oh' by the way I have been stalking this planetary mode for 67 earth years thus far.

comment How to have a penetrating voice?
David, a while ago some experts in 'tuning' went to a famous museum in Germany, to reset the tunings of 3 classic Grande pianos. They were built in the time of 436 Hz as standard. After re-tensioning and tuning all of the pianos they were satisfied at the beauty of the sound and tone. Unfortunately when they detuned the pianos, it was found that they were basically wrecked, as the increased tension AND strain it took to to tune them up to 440 basically killed the bloody things. it is also easy to verify that vocal node damage has become a pandemic in this modern world of screeching highs

comment How to relax my wrists?
I take you well structured and coherent comments on board with much gratitude and humility. Thanks for the opportunity. I didn't introduce the philosophical bent to the subject. I actually thought I was merely offering 'practical' 'alternative' solutions to the PO's underlying dilema. HIS MIND AND BODY TENSION !!!! The question "How can I stay relaxed when my body seems to associate tenseness with control?" was what the OP required an answer for - I answered this question; Relaxing his wrists was NOT the question posed. The OP equated 'tenseness' with 'control' as a function of his body.

in your no doubt humble opinion. perhaps you also miss the point of the 'total' question and 'comprehensive' answer. The abridged and gutted version taken out of context by you makes no sense either and is OF NO PRACTICAL VALUE TO THE OP REGARDING HIS QUESTION !!!!
