comment Why is the key included in classical music titles?
@Bavi_H I see - I was discounting the enharmonic equivalents.

comment What are good tips for remaining composed during one's first public performance?
"Remember that the audience is not full of critics and music teachers" - excellent advice. Most people won't be capable of doing what you do - even if you make a few slip-ups and carry on, they'll still come away impressed by your performance. Even the most amateur magician can appear impressive when you don't know how he does his tricks!

@UlfÅkerstedt Yes, I say "name them"!

comment Why is the key included in classical music titles?
@teodozjan I'm being somewhat sarcastic with the Beiber example - but the point is that if you only write a handful of songs you have the luxury of naming them something of your choosing. Write hundreds of instrumental pieces and you'll soon end up just referring them by their style and key.

comment Why is the key included in classical music titles?
@reinierpost I meant the volume of his output is still small enough to spend time giving specific titles rather than functional ones.

comment Why does conventional playing style give the string manipulation to the left hand?
I've also wondered about this. I'm right-handed and I've never learnt the guitar. When I picked up my friend's to see what it was like, I naturally used my right hand for fingering the chords, as that seemed to require the most dexterity. Cue my friend exclaiming "wow, you can play left-handed?!". Although, I played violin (badly) as a child and using my left hand for bowing would seem awkward.
