How to embrace the metronome after years of bad habits? Your description of yourself is identical to me!! I rarely use a metronome and have been actively trying to incorporate it as I KNOW I play ahead of the beat. I have decent time and can remain relatively steady without a click, but when I do use one I discover how ahead of the beat I really do play. It's tough to use one when you normally don't, but I highly recommend at least using it for about 10mins of your routine practice regimen. |

Recycling guitar strings usually they wont take anything with iron in it, the nickle in the strings is what they would want, or even gold. |

Should I worry about this strap pin? I actually have the exact same problem on my BC. Rich. The body side strap button wiggles even though I know the screw is in there pretty good. It mostly just turns, it doesn't have any degree of pitch to it when it moves. So I need to follow my own advise and do something about it. |

Should I worry about this strap pin? I would not recommend a wider screw that could crack the body. you would have to drill the hole wider to accommodate it. I'm not a luthier, but I've seen it happen. |

Capo that won't detune my guitar? all guitars have had intonation checked. If I wiggle the capo around on the fret, it sometimes elevates the issue. I heard the Dunlop style, wrap-arounds were the better quality. |

Why is the bridge pickup on a Stratocaster angled? yeah, of all my years I never really thought about why they did that. |

Skills needed for classical guitar You may not want years and years of lessons, but how about a couple intro lessons with a classical teacher? He/she would be able to evaluate your form and current finger-style technique and help you adapt to basic classical. |

Are there exercises similar to the 'Buddha rope' for endurance on bass guitar? Gary Willis has some videos out there that are kinda old, but he goes over a lot of detail hoe to work on the right hand for bass. Gary Willis - Progressive Bassics Pt. 1 |
