Yeah. I'm here, I'm awake, I'm ready to work. I think that's about as good as it gets most mornings.

Managing batteries for live performances @User393, nah... to my mind, it's not really a "new" answer, so much as a "value-add" to Babu's good answer. |

Managing batteries for live performances Maybe use rechargables to reduce the "waste" batteries? It's pretty easy to plan for charging overnight between performances, and you won't have to worry about having a pile of batteries laying around that are half-used. |

Managing batteries for live performances FYI, since this will be for a performance, you should spend the extra few minutes (and money) for a noiseless variety. Otherwise the hum of these power-chains gets a bit loud. Good enough for my practicing, but I would never go on stage with my current setup. |

Can one play acoustic/classical music with an electric guitar? FWIW, I learned guitar in a classical guitar class. I've since jumped to electric. One of my warmups to get the blood flowing, I like to play pieces from that class. While messing around on the electric, I also found that one song sounds FANTASTIC with a bit of flanger, and another sounds really good with a little distorted wah. Just play whatever on whatever. It develops you as a musician. |

right handed bass into left handed bass Not sure if this is a possibility to you, but I'm a lefty, and I play guitar/bass right-handed. Just feels more natural to me. My left hand does the fancy fingering stuff, and my "dumb" right hand just grabs strings and yanks on them. |

Soft sound strings for Fender bass Jazz Flats made my Squier P sound fan-freaking-tastic! I felt bad about putting strings that cost 2/3 the price of the bass, but SO worth it! |
