Aug 12, 2020 at 16:46 comment added Saeed Vrz @Tim I'm not sure. I've heard that some wired mics with no external power supply can work using an adapter. Bluetooth mics are also OK.
Aug 12, 2020 at 15:49 comment added Tetsujin The fundamental frequency of A₀ is 27.5Hz, pretty much the bottom end of any mic's range - & that's if the DAC isn't filtering the lows out, which it very probably is. C₈ ought to be simpler at 4kHz, but unless your app is actually good it will probably be totally confused by harmonics in the top couple of octaves

Aug 12, 2020 at 15:38 comment added Tim Can you plug any mic into your phone?
Aug 12, 2020 at 15:33 comment added Saeed Vrz @sxmrxzxr Phone is much more easier to use, but if there is no reasonable option, I can switch to cumputer. Do you think this is a software filtering or soundcard issue and cannot be solved by an external mic? I thought maybe a mic with good freq response could solve this.
Aug 12, 2020 at 15:12 comment added sxmrxzxr Are you limited to whatever works on a phone or can this include a computer?
Aug 12, 2020 at 14:38 comment added PiedPiper It's probably not the mic. Your app is most likely filtering those frequencies. Maybe it has a setting for that. But that's going to be the least of your problems. Please do some thorough research before you even start.
