There is \set lyricMelismaAlignment = #RIGHT and \unset lyricMelismaAlignment , but this seems not to work here, since it pushes both eighth notes to the right of the lyrics. But maybe this can be a starting point?

It will primarily arrange the nodes according to their length and only then try to fit the lyrics. The way your arrangement is designed, the space between the first and the second eighth note in the second bar is way to large compared to the space between the second eighth note and the half note at the end. Therefore, the only thing that might work would be to somehow rearrange the lyrics, but I currently cannot think of a good way to do this. At least not in this very example. | |
