Mar 1, 2023 at 16:33 | comment | added | brilliant | @user1079505 - ""I don't know what do you mean by "natural"" - I think I already explained what I meant by "natural" in my very question: "natural instruments, that is, the saxophone and those instruments that were invented before electricity was discovered"
Mar 1, 2023 at 16:07 | comment | added | user1079505 | You also can find musical boulders in some places of the world... Anyway, the point is, I don't know what do you mean by "natural".

Mar 1, 2023 at 15:40 | comment | added | brilliant | @user1079505 - "saxophone is not natural (it's man made)" - Name at least one which was made by mother nature. :) "and it's invented after the discovery of electricity" - And that's exactly the reason why I said "saxophone and those instruments that were invented before electricity".
Mar 1, 2023 at 15:34 | comment | added | user1079505 | This is an open-ended question with very vague criteria. What is short, what is loud? What is the problem you are actually trying to solve. The criteria for the instruments are unclear too: saxophone is not natural (it's man made) and it's invented after the discovery of electricity. Note, musical instrument classification is a well-developed area: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musical_instrument_classification This could be a good question if these issues were fixed.

Mar 1, 2023 at 12:07 | comment | added | Todd Wilcox | Woodwinds and brass are not articulated by starting or stopping air for several reasons, including the fact that it is a very slow way to do it. We generally strive for continuous air on winds.

Mar 1, 2023 at 9:57 | comment | added | brilliant | @Tom - "Are we allowed synths and sequencers" - No. They didn't exist before the discovery of electricity.
Mar 1, 2023 at 9:54 | comment | added | brilliant | @AakashM - Sorry, I forgot to mention percussions in my question. I have already edited it to exclude unpitched percussions.
