The OP said "the sharp reduces the interval"; either they were confused about how sharps work, or (more likely) they applied it to the F. And the comment about "full 7 interval with no modification" suggests that they did't know about major, minor, and perfect; many answers and comments assumed they did and discussed those notions but didn't lay the groundwork. | |
