However the human hearing makes up for that and extrapolates the fundamental from the higher partials, and thus a deep voice to still be perceived as deep (but with a phone filter sound). This means you will still "hear" a sung low F as the very low F although the lowest frequency you actually hear might be an octaveor more above.
