When I sing I like the higher keys. I do not have that low voice that most people have. Even some tenors have that low voice. Sometimes I sing hymns a major thid higher than the keys found in the hymn books. Some of the melodies in the hymn books are extremely low for me. I find that Bb2 is too low for me. That note is extremely low. G4 on the other hand is not that difficult to sing. The easiest key for Silent night is D. My teacher told me that I have the voice of a "tenor 1" in the choir.
