I'm new to jazz and harmony and I love it, I have been trying to figure out what type of chord is played in this song :

this is the song : I Want A Little Sugar In My Bowl - Nina Simone : Here Is The Song its on 0:36 (after she sings :"I feel so funny, I feel so sad")

My guess is : fifth augmented chord ? if so is it remains a pulling chord to the first (5 -> 1) ?

So Can You Help Me Figure Out The Type Of The Chord ?

You definitely got the most important note - the #5 - right, it is a dominant seventh chord with a raised 5th: F#7/#5

The raised 5th resolves upwards to the third of the I chord (B major). So it is a basic progression V -> I, where the V is altered.
