I start by saying that I'm totally new to Logic Pro.

I need to sample some guitar chords

Just that, without strumming or anything, just play the Chord once. Is there a way I can do it using Logic without having to record it from my guitar?

I would really appreciate any help!

There is a free external plugin called 'spicy guitar'.This should simulate an acoustic guitar sound just fine. But if you want something really pro, you want to use 'real guitar' vst by musiclab which costs $199. 'DSK electric guitar z' is a good free one for electric guitar or you can buy the ultimate NI 'guitar rig' for $180

  • The free ones you suggested were not good enough for me. So I bought real guitar. But it looks like if it is a standalone software. It's not a Logic plug-in. How do I export mp3 from Real Guitar? – Daniele Jul 22 '16 at 13:20
  • I use a PC so I might not give an accurate answer. Bit o think you should look for the real guitar 'au' file then copy an paste it in the location where your other logic instruments are located. There is also a PDF guide on their website that might help. – ebere Jul 22 '16 at 16:37
