I have searched a lot but I am not finding Monophonic datasets. Where can I download it from

I am searching Monophonic Midi recordings to read and alter using Matlab Programming. Instrument does not matter. But one note value should be present at one particular time step

  • MIDI contains performance information, not audio. So properties like 'monophonic' do not apply to MIDI. Can you clarify what you're asking? – trw Jan 10 at 16:15
  • Funny. I thought @Batman meant monophony. mon·o·phon·ic /ˌmänəˈfänik/ adjective 1. (of sound reproduction) using only one channel of transmission. 2. MUSIC consisting of a single musical line, without accompaniment. "the style of monophonic singing known as Gregorian chant" – Michael Curtis Jan 10 at 16:35
  • What I mean by monophony is 'having single note value at a time step' – Batman Jan 10 at 18:05
  • And I am trying to find the monophonic midi datasets for training of Neural Network. – Batman Jan 10 at 18:07
  • @Batman: look for files with the lowest byte amount or: can't you use just any midi file and extract the leading tune? – Albrecht Hügli Jan 12 at 15:09
