This question already has an answer here:
I had been interested in electric guitar music overall (And specifically for videogame music stuff). But I have 0 knowledge about how to start, 16 here.
I did do a quick search here and there and noticed that there are various points people do mention when buying guitars and accessories (Guitar, amp, pedals). But in return, I'm quite short on money. I did read about audio interfaces, would they be a good way to skip the whole amp/pedal part and leave it to digital stuff like VSTs? (Since I had played with LMMS and some free VSTs before.)
As for composing, unfortunately I'm not capable of going with a teacher. So, would it be better if I tried to look up some courses (On Udemy/Skillshare..etc) or instead just learn some songs and gradually improvise?
Thanks in advance!
