The CDP135 manual doesn't mention half-pedalling at all. The Casio website only mentions half-pedalling on the more expensive Celviano range. So I don't think you'll be able to do half-pedalling on any model from the CDP range. – Your Uncle Bob Aug 1 '19 at 5:10
  • Looking at the manual, the damper pedal is simply an on/off swiitch. Using a standard jack. Half damper pedals use a TRS jack, which it seems won't connect with this 'board. – Tim Aug 1 '19 at 6:22
  • The really expensive keyboards can actually use CC#64 0-127. Most just toggle on/off at 64. – Tetsujin Aug 1 '19 at 7:10

EDIT: Casio support, in an email, confirms that the CDP-135 does not support a half-damper.

Thank you for contacting Casio
There is no half-damper support on the CDP-135

My read of the MIDI implementation manual is that the CDP-135 does not support a half-pedal.

The relevant passages are on page 9, section 8.7

Casio MIDI manual sect. 8.7

and page 18, section 18.1.

Casio MIDI manual sect. 18.1
