Just as a follow-up to Forearm pain - practicing piano. I have been being cautious about my arm and elbow positioning while playing and still seem to have the aching pain in the right forearm and wrist. I obviously from stretches for chording feel that the tendons are being pulled/stretched and causing the discomfort. I have been doing finger stretching and after playing massaging my forearm. Any further thoughts would be great, also am going to see a doctor soon to discuss treatment{s}.

  • It is not at all clear what your instrument is and that would help. Could be piano, guitar, bass. – ggcg Oct 24 at 16:42
  • What is this a follow up to? – Legorhin Oct 24 at 17:04
  • The medical advice for this is so old it has been a theatrical joke for 50 years or more… Patient: "Doctor, my arm hurts when I do this!" … Doctor: "Don't do it then." – Tetsujin Oct 24 at 17:18
  • Oh sorry, Yes Playing Piano and there was discussions on tendon pain and issues. – Bobby Phillips Oct 24 at 17:22
  • Discussions where? Stack Exchange is not a discussion forum & is not threaded like one. There is no way anyone can tell to what you refer without specific links. – Tetsujin Oct 24 at 18:18
