Learnt BASIC at an Apple ][ clone, thanks to my parents both being programmers. Ended up studying Electrical Engineering, graduating, getting married, having kids, helping people with computers.
I type up Gregorian chant, teach programming basics to homeschoolers, wrangle webpages for volunteer groups and general tech support for my husband's portrait drawing business.
