Retired electronic engineer/scientist who likes playing double bass or bass guitar in church, ceilidh bands, old time/bluegrass/folk music, and jazz if it’s easy. Interested in music theory, although not classically trained. Generally, I rely on the chord structure of a piece of music to create my bass lines.

I admit to having played a banjolin in a English Morris dance side, and am slowly learning to step dance in wooden soled English clogs. Not cool, according to my children.
