Have taken up Spanish and Accordion in my retirement, with age having forced me to ease up a wee bit on my long-time practice of Tae Kwon Do. Had previously studied Spanish, but let my studies lapse for several years.
Accordion efforts are totally new, but I had previously played both saxophone and piano (albeit just a few years each), and I wanted to bring music back into my life. Why accordion? That's not easy to answer. But I've learned subsequently that a lot of old guys seem to gravitate in that direction. So maybe the choice isn't so unusual.
