Linux is the gateway drug, HTML is the first brick on the road straight to hell. I was first lured in a couple of years ago at the late age of 28 years, intoxicated by my newfound ability to get a browser to display "Hello World." It wasn't long before I then turned an old P4 laptop into an apache server and soon found myself whiling away the hours, making my first web page and finally uploading it to a hosted server.

I'm a teacher by trade. I've been marginally employed for the last couple of years, so I've been taking the time to teach myself python. I've just designed my first education related app using wxpython as my visual framework. Now I can perform Time on Task behavioral observations with ease.

If I get good at this whole programming thing, I'll take it up as a career. Maybe.
